The Department of Psychology and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (CNBC) at Carnegie Mellon University seek to fill a tenure-track position in cognitive neuroscience at the assistant professor level. Area of research specialization is open but we are seeking candidates who take a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to research and whose training and research involves core issues in cognitive psychology, a strong grounding in theory, and cutting-edge neuroimaging methods. Carnegie Mellon is strongly committed to expanding cognitive and brain research spanning multiple disciplines, investing significantly in new faculty in computational, cognitive, and systems neuroscience and in new facilities, including a state-ofthe-art MRI facility (http://www.sibr.cmu.edu) and high-performance computing clusters.
