In addition to the CNBC's graduate training program, there are
extensive opportunities for post-doctoral and undergraduate research
training within the CNBC. In both instances, training opportunities
are arranged with specific CNBC faculty members, who may be contacted
individually. At the undergraduate level, there are also two summer
undergraduate research programs, the Summer Undergraduate Research
Program and the Recruitment of Undergraduates for Mental Health
Research program.
The University of Pittsburgh is also home to a special
NIH-supported program in Survival Skills and Ethics. This program is
open to graduate and post-doctoral Ph.D. students at both the
University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon, and provides a series of
Saturday workshops covering the full range of ethical and career
development issues faced by individuals who are preparing themselves
for careers in research.
