Faculty in the CNBC pursue a wide range of research topics, using a variety of methods. Each faculty member is affiliated with one or more departments and/or Ph. D. degree granting programs. The Ph.D. degree granting units that are affiliated with the CNBC are indicated in the list of departments and programs with the letter A. Ordinarily, CNBC students are enrolled in one of these units and work with a faculty member in that unit.
