Design and Analysis for Studies of Regional Integration - Pittsburgh Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition Pittsburgh, PA JAN 19-23, 2011
Design and Analysis for Studies of Regional Integration is an advanced, 5-day workshop designed for investigators having familiarity with the basic principles of fMRI data acquisition, statistical analysis using the general linear model, and substantial practical experience using SPM. The presentations will provide an introduction to the design and analysis of neuroimaging experiments examining inter-regional influences using SPM8 and related programs. The presentations will cover theoretical background, experimental design and analysis principles along with practical demonstrations tied to the key conceptual issues. Specific methods covered will include functional connectivity examined using bivariate correlation or regression, mediation analysis, psychophysiological interaction analysis, and dynamic causal modeling.
