The Original PDP software, (as described in McClelland, J. L. and Rumelhart, D. E. Explorations in Parallel Distributed Processing: A handbook of models, programs, and exercises, Cambridge, MA: MIT Press) is available for download here.
To use the software: Create a folder named "pdp" (or whatever you choose) and use WinZip or any similar archiving program to unzip the file into the folder. You should end up with ARCE.COM, COLEX.EXE, and folders for PA, BP, CS, IAC, AA, IA, CL, UTILS, and SRC. Procedures for running the software are described in detail in the PDP Handbook. We regret that we cannot help with recompilation; however, if you have a good C compiler it is possible that you will be able to make changes and recompile the software for your use.
