WHY: Nonhuman primate (NHP) systems neuroscience stands at a pivotal moment, reminiscent of mathematics in 1900 when David Hilbert proposed his 23 transformative problems. With groundbreaking tools such as ultra-high-density electrophysiology, chemo- & opto- genetics, and advanced computational modeling, our field is ready to tackle profound questions about cognition and behavior. This workshop invites you to join peers and mentors in guiding the next decade of discovery by collaboratively shaping the ’10 Hilbert Questions’ of NHP neuroscience. This 2.5-day workshop will include panelist-led discussions, breakout sessions, and social gatherings, all designed to foster dialogue and community building.
WHEN: October 23–25, 2025
WHERE: The historic Mellon Institute at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh, PA
WHO: This workshop is designed for junior independent investigators and senior postdocs poised to lead the future of NHP neuroscience. Join peers from around the globe to shape the field’s direction and engage closely with a distinguished panel that is dedicated to mentoring and guiding the next generation of innovators.
Registration Fee: 200$
